Almighty and Heavenly Father,
Grant us the strength to hold fast to our vows. When we marry, we promise to love, honor, and cherish each other as long as we both shall live.
And so we ask that you teach us to love the way that we should, with patience and kindness, forgiveness and grace. Show us the best way to bestow honor on one another. Open our hearts to fully cherish each other and open our eyes to see the blessings we have.
Finally, Lord, may we never take these vows for granted, but rather fulfill them with honor and strength.
